Double beta processes in 92Mo
The double beta processes in Mo have been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. An extension of the quasiparticle random-phase approximation (QRPA) approach has been used for the two-neutrino double beta calculations. Using a HPGe detector and an external source of high-purity natural molybdenum, new stringent limits on the (0i/-f-2t/)/3+ EC decay to the ground state and (0ι/ + 2ι/) âóåó transitions to excited states have been derived.
